The City Police on Monday detained chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Antasari Azhar due to his alleged roles in the murder of state-owned director PT Putra Rajawali Banjaran Nasrudin Zulkarnaen.

Tempointeraktif.com reported that police had put Antasari at the Police Drugs Directorate Detention Center after finishing a questioning session at 5:46 p.m. Antasari did not answer the journalists questions when he left the room where he faces questions from investigators.

“We have strong evidence over the suspect involvements in the murder case,” the police director for crimes Comr. Mohammad Kurniawan told journalists.

He said that the police were developing on the motives of the murder.
